The Journey

I am a mother of two, several years ago I attended my first Steiner parent & child group,

I have fond memories and made very strong connections that have lasted until this day.

I grew up in the sussex countryside where I spent a lot of time in nature. I've always valued my children's connection with nature and the seasons, this was a very important quality of our experience of Steiner parent and child group we attended.

Shortly after having my first child I spent 7 years living in India where I ran a textile business, whilst there I also had the privilege to attend and be involved with a Waldorf inspired kindergarten and parent and child groups.

After my son was born in 2008 we returned to England, where we attended the Steiner Parent and Child group at Flamer Village.

This inspired me to  begin my journey on the Early Years teacher training, which I began in 2012 at Steiner House London. Drawing to my textiles background I have also since completed the UK Waldorf Handwork Teacher Training course & run many textiles workshops.

Between 2013 - 2016 I worked at Michael Hall Steiner school and in this time I completed my training. This gave me a strong foundation in core Waldorf practice and I was excited to be in a position to take the essence of this foundation and bring it to small intimate settings which can hold and meet the needs of both children and parents.

My passion has now grown, and the group has organically developed into something far greater than I could have expected. 2018 is really exciting as we have a few more additional workshops and sessions that we will be introducing.

I am passionate about motherhood and birthing, I am a birth and postnatal doula and I am currently taking on new families for doula care.

I will also be holding a beautiful mothers circle in Brrighton and from my home in Hoathly Hill, this is open to a small circle of mothers and pregnant women.

Finally we have been holding  restorative woodland mornings and from September we will be holding these every Friday morning,  watch this space for new workshops....
